Sow's Ears and Silk Purses

I am part magpie - drawn to bright, shiny stuff, like the image on the left.  Someone, I don't have any idea who, put a lot of effort into designing it, and while we ignore stuff like this, we also miss a lot of beauty.  It's not always the big, glamorous stuff, but I find all kinds of small miracles around me.

My next project is to find stuff around the house...

I've also been trying vertical panoramas, again, see the image on the left, and while it can take a big chunk of memory to stitch, and then edit images of this size, it pays off.
